This page describes how Dr. Underhood Automotive Specialist, LLC ("we", "us", "Dr. Underhood", or "Live Assist") obtains customer consent to send SMS text messages, the categories of messages customers may receive, and the methods available to opt out at any time.

SMS messages are sent from the toll-free number +1 (855) 771-1264, registered to Dr. Underhood Automotive Specialist, LLC.
HOW CUSTOMERS OPT IN
Customers explicitly opt in to receive SMS notifications from Dr. Underhood Live Assist through one of the following methods:
• In-app consent checkbox. When a customer requests a live-video diagnosis or live-call upgrade in the Live Assist mobile app or web app, they are presented with a consent checkbox stating: "I agree to receive SMS text messages from Dr. Underhood Live Assist regarding my diagnosis, live-call status, and account notifications. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out." The customer must affirmatively check this box and provide their mobile number before any SMS is sent.
• At intake at the shop. When dropping a vehicle off in person at 5300 Towson Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901, customers may sign a written intake form that includes the same consent language and authorizes Dr. Underhood to text status updates about their repair.
Consent is never assumed, never pre-checked, and never transferred to or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
TYPES OF MESSAGES YOU MAY RECEIVE
• Diagnostic updates — when your AI diagnosis is ready or a technician has reviewed your case.
• Live-call alerts — when a Dr. Underhood technician is ready to start a scheduled live-video diagnosis session.
• Repair-status updates — when your vehicle is ready for pickup, an estimate is approved, or a part has arrived.
• Account & billing notifications — payment confirmations, receipts, or failed-payment alerts.
Messaging is transactional and customer-service oriented. Dr. Underhood does not use this SMS program for promotional marketing, sweepstakes, or third-party advertising.
MESSAGE FREQUENCY
Message frequency varies by customer activity. A typical active customer may receive between 1 and 10 messages per repair order.
MESSAGE & DATA RATES
Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Dr. Underhood does not charge for SMS messages.
HOW TO OPT OUT
You can stop receiving SMS messages from Dr. Underhood at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:
• STOP
• UNSUBSCRIBE
• CANCEL
• END
• QUIT
After you send one of these keywords, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent from Dr. Underhood unless you opt back in.
